What is NODO?

NODO is the pan-African product community platform with a vision to inform and educate consumers on the latest Web3 & technology products and services being developed across fifty-five countries within the African continent.

NODO was founded by EMURGO Africa, a venture arm focused on Africa and the Middle East and a regional entity of Cardano Blockchain founding entity EMURGO. Emurgo Africa is a $100M fund invested in 40 companies as of Q2 2023.

How Do I Register to NODO?

Registration with NODO is free and fast. You can visit nodo.xyz and click the “Sign Up” button on the top right corner. Enter your email address (and referral code if any) and click “Sign Up”. Enter the verification code sent to your email and you will be able to proceed to setting up your name and password to complete the signup.

How Do I Become An Expert or Maker?

Upon successful registration you will receive your own NODO Badge and gain access to core features of the NODO platform including upvoting, commenting, reviewing, applying for grants, and more.

Experts and Maker badges will be provided to users on a case-by-case basis. Users will need to email nodo.news@emurgo.africa or apply to be a Maker/Expert via the form here.

Quick Note: All users receive a free NODO Badge when they sign up for NODO. Users can apply to be an expert or maker and will be manually verified by NODO Internal Team Members.

How Do I Set Up the User Profile?

Click the top left corner where your profile name and picture is to find several setting options, and click on “My Profile”.

You will be able to change your Location, Company (organization, school, etc.), Role (work title), add your own bio, update your profile picture, change the visibility of your profile, and edit your login credentials directly on the My Profile page.

You can also modify the User Profile via My Settings. Here are the major information that users can edit:
