Bitcoin (BTC) has regained bullish momentum, surpassing the $69,000 mark after a weekend of bearish activity. This price surge comes on the heels of substantial investments in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

BTC has risen by 1.3% in the past 24 hours, trading at $69,080 at the time of writing. This increase pushed Bitcoin's market cap past the $1.35 trillion mark, with a daily trading volume reaching $22.7 billion.

The recent bullish momentum can be attributed to several significant investments. On June 1, Paradigm played a crucial role in helping the Bitcoin staking protocol Babylon secure $70 million in funding. Additionally, Tether, the issuer of USDT, made headlines by purchasing up to $150 million worth of Bitdeer shares in a private deal. Bitdeer, a prominent Bitcoin mining company, has shares valued between $6 and $7.

In another major development, the Republic of Tatarstan, also known as Tataria, is working on establishing the largest Bitcoin mining company in Russia, with an estimated value of $100 million. This ambitious project will be spearheaded by Innopolis Tech, a fintech company led by a former Russian minister of communications.

Despite the positive investment news, data from Santiment indicates a decline in the number of active addresses on the Bitcoin network over the past four days. The number of unique daily active addresses dropped from 683,150 on May 31 to 538,240 at the time of reporting.

However, Santiment's data also reveals a slight increase in the total supply of Bitcoin in profit, rising from 18.28 million BTC to 18.33 million coins. Currently, 19.707 million Bitcoins are in circulation.

The BTC Relative Strength Index (RSI) is holding steady at 54, suggesting that Bitcoin is well-positioned for continued bullish momentum. This RSI level indicates that Bitcoin remains in good condition for potential further gains, reflecting investor confidence in the cryptocurrency's near-term prospects.
