The Developers section of Etherscan is a collection of tools and resources for developers who want to interact with the Ethereum blockchain and smart contracts. These tools include;

API Plans

This subsection allows Developers to choose between different plans for accessing Etherscan's APIs, which are web services that provide data and functionality for Ethereum applications.

The plans vary in terms of the number of requests, the types of endpoints, and the price. Developers can also contact Etherscan for a custom option if they have specific needs.

API Documentation

Detailed information on how to use the Etherscan API can be found here. Clicking on it redirects the user to https://docs.etherscan.io/

Code Reader

Though this feature is currently in beta, it allows users to read and analyze the source code of verified smart contracts on Etherscan. You can search for contracts by address, name, or keyword, and view the code in different languages such as Solidity or Vyper. This tool is powered by AI. Verify Contract

The source code of your smart contract on Etherscan can be read and verified by developers and other users using this tool.

Similar Contract Search

Allows users to find smart contracts that are similar to a given contract address or source code. You can use this tool to compare contracts, check for plagiarism, or discover new functionalities.

Smart Contract Search

Enables users to explore the ecosystem of smart contracts on Ethereum. Search for smart contracts by various criteria, such as name, address, balance, transaction count, or token name.

Contract Diff Checker

Gives room to compare the source code of two smart contracts and see the differences highlighted in color. You can use this tool to check for updates, modifications, or bugs in contract codes.

Vyper Online Compiler

This subsection allows developers to compile their Vyper code online and see the output in bytecode and Application Binary Interface. Developers can also test their Vyper code without installing any software on their local machine.

Bytecode to Opcode:

Allows developers to convert bytecode into opcode and see the assembly instructions for their smart contract. It is also used to understand how a contract works at a low level and debug any issues.

Broadcast Transaction

This subsection allows you to broadcast your signed transaction to the Ethereum network and see the transaction hash. You can use this tool to send transactions without using a wallet or a node (I’ve got plans to know how this works). You can also check the status of your transaction on etherscan's Block Explorer,

This suite of tools in the Developers section is essential for folks on the technical side of the blockchain (less tech-savvy enthusiasts can find it handy too)
