According to some analysts, Bitcoin's recent price decline shows similarities to the price movement after U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024. Bitcoin fell around 14% in the 12 days following the U.S. ETF rollout before rebounding 7% over the next week.

Crypto trader Quinten Francois pointed out that if BTC continues mirroring this pattern, it could see an upswing in price over the "next week or so" after the recent ~7% drawdown. Other traders agreed the pullback was healthy consolidation for Bitcoin.
