Caitlyn Jenner has publicly accused memecoin adviser Sahil Arora of scamming her, while continuing to support the controversial JENNER token.

American media personality Caitlyn Jenner has joined a growing list of celebrities accusing memecoin collaborator Sahil Arora of fraud. Jenner's involvement with Arora came to light amidst a series of unusual celebrity token launches on May 26. The controversy escalated when Jenner's X account posted a furious message: "FUCK SAHIL! He scammed us! BIG TIME," confirming suspicions that Arora was behind the JENNER token launch.

The JENNER token gained significant attention, with its market cap soaring to $43 million within the first 24 hours, according to DEX Screener. However, this meteoric rise was followed by a sharp decline of 52.8%, bringing the market cap down to $20.3 million.

Despite the controversy and financial losses, Jenner has reiterated her commitment to the JENNER token. "JENNER isn’t going anywhere but up," the former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete stated, although she acknowledged that Sahil Arora appears to be "fully out" of the project at this moment.

The authenticity of Jenner's posts is still a topic of debate within the crypto community. Adding to the complexity, American rapper Rich the Kid (Dimitri Leslie Roger) has also accused Arora of hacking his X account to promote the recently launched "RICH" token. "This guy pretty much made a pump-and-dump and dumped all the money into his account and blocked me," Rich the Kid claimed.

Jenner, in another post, expressed doubt about Arora's future in launching celebrity tokens, based on her conversations with others.

Further intrigue was stirred on Monday when users on X identified a cryptocurrency wallet address posted by Jenner as the same one used by adult content creator Kazumi. Kazumi had allegedly been hacked while promoting the "ZUMI" token on May 20. This led pseudonymous cryptocurrency investigator Roxo to link Arora to both token launches, suggesting that Arora had "socially engineered" Jenner's team. "After launching the token and getting Caitlyn to promote it, he dumped all the tokens from the deployer wallet and more he had sniped on burner wallets," Roxo explained.

However, on-chain data indicates that there has not yet been a dump of tokens, leaving the situation murky.

This unfolding saga highlights the volatile intersection of celebrity endorsements and the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency, raising questions about the security and legitimacy of such ventures.
