Cardano, a prominent proof-of-stake blockchain platform, is on the verge of achieving its most significant milestone yet, according to founder Charles Hoskinson's recent social media update.

The platform has progressed to the fifth stage of its ambitious roadmap, known as "Voltaire," which aims to establish Cardano as a self-sustaining ecosystem. Hoskinson anticipates that June will witness the release of Cardano Node version 9.0, a crucial component of the network.

Already prepared for the Chang hard fork, Cardano expects 70% of its stake pool operators (SPOs) to adopt the new node. Addressing skepticism about Cardano's fundamentals, Hoskinson recently criticized cryptocurrency influencers, highlighting a perceived gap between skeptics' opinions and the platform's reality.
