YouTube investigator Stephen Findeisen, widely known by his online alias “Coffeezilla,” has leveled serious accusations against the artificial intelligence company Rabbit, alleging that it orchestrated a nonfungible token (NFT) scam and subsequently attempted to conceal its actions.

In a video published on May 21, Coffeezilla delved into Rabbit AI's controversial history, revealing that the company was previously known as Cyber Manufacture Co. During this earlier phase, Rabbit AI raised $6 million for an NFT project named Gama, which Findeisen now describes as a "scam."

According to Coffeezilla, Rabbit AI’s founder and CEO, Jesse Lyu, has tried to distance the company from its past crypto involvement. In a Discord message, Lyu claimed that the company would “never touch crypto” again and characterized the Gama project as a minor endeavor he engaged in during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lyu stated that he left the project once the game they developed was made open-source.

However, Findeisen unearthed recordings of Lyu from the past, where he spoke enthusiastically about the ambitious plans for the Gama project, suggesting it was more significant than Lyu now admits. In these recordings, Lyu outlined a vision involving substantial investment to make Gama a "next-level experience," including future plans for a broader "Gamaverse" and clean energy innovations tied to Gama Coin.

Coffeezilla questioned the whereabouts of the $6 million raised for Gama, highlighting inconsistencies in how the funds were reported to be used. Despite Lyu's attempts to minimize the project’s importance, Coffeezilla emphasized that Rabbit AI is essentially built on the remnants of the Gama project. This connection, he argued, raises concerns about the integrity of Rabbit’s current AI products.

The controversy extends to Rabbit’s latest product, the R1, which Coffeezilla criticized as being overhyped in a manner similar to the Gama project. He noted that many of the ambitious promises made about Gama never materialized, drawing parallels to the marketing tactics used for the R1.

Coffeezilla’s exposé has been echoed by other critics. On January 14, WeGPT founder and CEO Josh Olin accused Rabbit’s project of being a “scam” on the social media platform X. Olin described Rabbit’s ventures as quick cash grabs designed to attract unwary investors.

This unfolding saga has cast a shadow over Rabbit AI, calling into question the legitimacy of its business practices and raising alarms within the investment community. As Rabbit continues to face scrutiny, potential investors are urged to proceed with caution.
