Sumit Gupta, one of the founders of CoinDCX, expressed his excitement after learning that Shashi Tharoor, a senior member of the Congress party, has put money into Bitcoin ETFs. Gupta took to social media to share his appreciation for Tharoor's decision, stating that he is glad to see someone like Shashi Tharoor investing in Bitcoin.

In addition to commending Tharoor, Gupta highlighted CoinDCX's efforts to educate people about cryptocurrency for over six years. He mentioned recent campaigns aimed at raising awareness about Bitcoin and expressed hope that Tharoor's investment would inspire more Indians to explore the world of crypto.

Tharoor's investment portfolio includes various assets such as government bonds, ELSS funds, flexi cap, multi cap portfolios, and a Bitcoin ETF worth Rs 5,11,314 ($6135). His decision to invest in Bitcoin ETFs reflects a growing interest in cryptocurrencies among traditional investors and politicians in India. This move is seen as a positive development for the crypto community facing increased legal scrutiny.

Recent trends in the Bitcoin ETF market show a decrease in overall capital inflow, stabilizing at around $100 million per day. Inflows into funds like IBIT and FBTC have also decreased, with GBTC experiencing outflows. However, the surge in Spot Bitcoin ETF investments has played a significant role in the recent price surge of BTC to $73,750.

Analyst Eric Balchunas from Bloomberg ETF highlighted an interesting trend, suggesting that most of BTC's price increase since the ETF's launch has occurred during after-hours trading. This trend has led to noticeable price differences between closing and opening prices.
