COTI introduces the Ethereum Ecosystem Growth Fund to advance privacy initiatives. The fund, comprising 400 million COTI tokens valued at around $25 million, aims to support projects enhancing the COTI ecosystem's development and efficiency.

COTI has long been dedicated to building a privacy-focused version of Ethereum L2, including establishing the COTI Foundation as a pivotal component in achieving this goal. The Ecosystem Fund, designed to foster the adoption and evolution of COTI V2, will engage in collaborative research with entrepreneurs and developers, as well as facilitate the development of services within the new ecosystem.

Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEO of COTI, sees the Ecosystem Fund as a significant step forward in COTI's evolution towards a privacy-focused Ethereum L2. The allocated funds will support ecosystem application development, COTI V2 adoption, and the expansion of business connections.

The first beneficiary of this investment is Soda Labs, a leader in cryptographic Multi-Party Computation (MPC). Soda Labs, founded by Dr. Avishay Yanai and Dr. Meital Levy, specializes in garbling protocols, aiming to provide COTI users with a private network that evolves with their needs.

Dr. Avishay Yanai highlights Soda Labs' focus on twisted circuits within secure MPC, aiming to develop privacy tools essential for the next iteration of Web3 with support from the COTI Foundation.

With funding from COTI, the transition to Ethereum L2 underscores the commitment to privacy using twisted circuits, with the primary goal of developing an application for confidential transaction verification while adhering to regulations.

COTI plans to reveal further initiatives and forge additional partnerships in the coming months, along with implementing a developer grant program.
