South Korea's leading cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has recently announced the listing of two altcoins, Zetachain (ZETA) and Omni Network (OMNI), leading to a significant surge in trading volumes and prices.

ZETA Price Jumps 40%

Following the news of Upbit's listing, Zetachain's native cryptocurrency, ZETA, experienced a remarkable 40% price increase. As of the latest update, ZETA is trading at $1.86, with a market capitalization of $494,482,651 and a daily trading volume that has surged by 91% to $178,546,135. Upbit has made ZETA available for trading against the Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) trading pairs.

Zetachain is a layer 1 mainnet designed to facilitate cross-chain smart contracts and promote interconnectivity among diverse blockchain networks. Built on the Cosmos SDK framework, Zetachain maintains multiple validators engaged in the block creation process to ensure consensus. The platform also operates observers and signers to facilitate cross-chain communication, with ZETA serving as the native digital asset for various purposes, including transaction fee payments, staking, delegation, and governance.

OMNI Price Jumps 10%

Another altcoin, Omni Network (OMNI), has also experienced a 10% price surge, reaching past the $20.5 level. Currently, OMNI is trading at $9.47, with a market capitalization of $202 million and a daily trading volume that has jumped 110% to $93,829,009. Upbit has made OMNI available for trading against the BTC and USDT trading pairs.

Omni Network is a layer 1 blockchain designed to foster interoperability among Ethereum rollups, addressing the fragmentation of liquidity, users, and developers caused by the rapid proliferation of such rollups. Employing a dual-chain architecture, Omni Network aims to facilitate swift and efficient cross-chain transactions through Integrated Consensus and Dual Chain Architecture.

Furthermore, as EigenLayer's Active Validated Service (AVS), Omni Network upholds initial protocol stability by integrating an Ethereum-derived security system via ETH restaking. The OMNI token serves various purposes, including transaction fee payments, staking, delegation, and governance participation.
