Polygon is experiencing a surge in monthly active users, reaching an all-time high of 8.8 million. Investment firm Franklin Templeton has begun transferring its tokenized shares BENJI on the Polygon blockchain. These developments have contributed to the ecosystem's growth.

Active addresses in various sectors of Polygon have shown positive trends in the last three months. Gaming protocols saw a significant surge of 3,663%, while centralized finance (CeFi) protocols increased by 1,473%. Stablecoin, decentralized finance (DeFi), and SocialFi protocols also experienced growth during this period.

However, MATIC, Polygon's native token, has seen a decline in price over the past 30 days, dropping from $1.06 to $0.71. The 50-day exponential moving average (50EMA) suggests a downtrend in the market. Despite this, the relative strength index (RSI) indicates potential for a price increase in the future. As of now, MATIC is trading at $0.7128 with a market cap of $7.05 billion and a daily trading volume of $270 million.
