Degen Chain, a blockchain developed for the Degen meme token, has stopped working for 11 hours. This means it can't make new blocks or help with transactions. The problem started suddenly, and the network stopped working at block #15524774 on Sunday at 4:15 p.m. ET.

This has caused problems for apps and bridges like Relay bridge, DegenSwap, Mint Club and Frogswap, which can't be used for transactions. Degen Chain uses Arbitrum Orbit and settles on Base, with a value of $2.6 million. The native gas token is Degen, an ERC-20 token on Base, created in January 2024. Despite the issues, the Degen token on Base is still working fine.
