The DOGE community has suffered a significant blow, with Dogecoin's long positions experiencing a $16 million liquidation event within a single day. This is the most considerable loss since earlier in the month, resulting from traders being forced to close their futures positions due to insufficient capital caused by unexpected asset price drops. In this situation, DOGE's price fell by 13% within a 24-hour period, increasing weekly losses to 6%, according to CoinMarketCap.
