Floki (FLOKI) and Dogwifhat (WIF) tokens surged by up to 8% since the start of Asian trading hours, coinciding with a 19% rise in GameStop (GME) stock during pre-market trading. Dogecoin (DOGE) increased by 2%, and Solana-based Bonk (BONK) rose by 5.5%. Historically, rallies in GameStop stock have often led to similar movements in meme coins, including those with dog themes. This trend reflects investor euphoria and potential irrational trading patterns.

In 2021, the "Gamestop mania" spilled over into DOGE and other meme coins, a phenomenon that could repeat if GME continues to attract retail traders. Notably, DOGE and FLOKI saw significant gains in May following a viral post by retail trader Keith Gill, known for his role in the 2021 GameStop short squeeze.
