Eight major firms, including BlackRock and Fidelity, have filed S-1 amendments for Spot Ethereum ETFs, revealing fees and seed investments. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is expected to approve these filings by July 2.

The filings include notable names such as BlackRock, Fidelity, 21Shares, Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, VanEck, iShares, and Invesco. Franklin Templeton and VanEck have disclosed their fees, which stand at 0.19% and 0.20%, respectively. These fees are relatively competitive, putting pressure on other issuers to keep their fees low.

Some firms have also revealed significant seed investments. BlackRock has invested $10 million, while 21Shares has invested $340,739. Franklin Templeton has disclosed an initial capital of $100,000, and Invesco has put in $100,000 for the Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF.

The market is eagerly awaiting the SEC's decision on these filings. The SEC has a strict review process to ensure that all disclosure and regulatory procedures are completed before ETFs begin trading. With the launch date rumored to be on July 2, investors are now waiting for the ruling of the SEC.

The enthusiasm around Ethereum ETFs is wider than just the US. In Europe, Standard Chartered has announced the launch of a Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum trading desk, indicating a growing global interest in cryptocurrency investment products.
