The first-ever global conference for the Sui ecosystem, Sui Basecamp, officially opened in Paris today. Attendees from all over the world, including developers and entrepreneurs, gathered to kick off Paris Blockchain Week.

Sui Basecamp is a two-day event taking place at two locations, featuring speakers from various industries such as gaming, ecommerce, and sports, discussing the latest advancements in web3. Some key highlights from the conference include the unveiling of SuiPlay0x1, a handheld gaming device developed in partnership with Playtron. This device, running Playtron’s gaming operating system, will introduce native web3 capabilities and is set to hit stores worldwide in 2025.

Additionally, First Digital Labs is releasing FDUSD, a stablecoin that has quickly gained popularity in the crypto world, on the Sui platform. Initially available on Ethereum and BNB, FDUSD is now expanding to Sui, making it the ecosystem’s first native stablecoin.

Mysten Labs, an integral part of Sui, has launched the Enoki platform, offering next-gen customer experiences to companies. Through Enoki, enterprises can integrate public ledger solutions using SDKs powered by Sui’s zkLogin feature. Various partners, including Bluefin, Drife, and Quantum Temple, are already onboard with this initiative.
