In the realm of cryptocurrency, a MEV bot operating on the Solana blockchain, known as "arsc," has amassed around $30 million in profits over the past two months through sandwich attacks. These tactics involve strategically placing its transactions around those of its victims to manipulate token prices and capitalize on selling tokens at inflated market prices.

According to Ben Coverston, founder of MRGN Research, the bot's operator has maintained a low profile while earning substantial profits from users of the Solana network. Additionally, the operator is suspected of using a dormant wallet address for cold-storage purposes, holding an estimated $19 million in assets, primarily in Solana tokens and Circle's USD Coin.

Coverston also identified another wallet address associated with the bot, which is more active in decentralized finance activities and currently holds over $9.9 million. A third wallet address, likely the bot's primary repository for Solana tokens, is utilized for executing the sandwich attacks.

Combining the assets across these three wallets totals approximately $29.8 million. While MEV sandwich bots can present lucrative opportunities, they have extracted more than $1.38 billion from Ethereum users as of April 2023, as reported by MEVBlocker, highlighting potential risks associated with such cryptocurrency trading activities.
