**Fresh Supply Co Shifts to the HBAR Foundation**

On March 30, the HBAR Foundation announced via Twitter that Fresh Supply Co (FSCO) has transitioned from the Mastercard blockchain to the Hedera network for real-world asset tokenization.

Traditionally, financiers relied on financial reports and profit-and-loss statements for credit risk assessment. However, the agrifood value chain, encompassing production, processing, and distribution of agricultural products, is complex.

With FSCO's assistance, the entire value chain, including processes like converting milk to cheese and cows to beef, as well as shipping and completing orders, will be tokenized and monitored with transparency. FSCO aims to digitize the food chain and trade, providing detailed, transparent, and verifiable data for financiers by tokenizing assets and events.

This comprehensive value chain information will enable financiers to analyze and verify the flow of goods and assets in and out of businesses, allowing for continuous validation of cash flows related to these events.

As part of the transition, FSCO will migrate all its current operations to Hedera, utilizing the Hedera Token Service (HTS) and the Hedera Consensus Service (HCS). Hedera's mature Governing Council and its goal of credible ESG reporting across industries were key factors in this decision.
