Grayscale Investments, a prominent crypto asset manager, has recently unveiled two new investment trusts, the Grayscale Near Trust and the Grayscale Stacks Trust, designed to offer investors a diversified entry into the world of emerging digital assets. These trusts, which became available for subscription on May 23, cater to both individual and institutional accredited investors seeking exposure to specific segments of the crypto market.

The Grayscale Near Trust is dedicated to NEAR, the native token of the Near Protocol, while the Grayscale Stacks Trust focuses on STX, a key token within the Bitcoin Layer 2 solution, Stacks. This strategic move aims to provide investors with targeted exposure to promising areas within the crypto landscape, allowing them to capitalize on the potential growth of these digital assets.

The market response to NEAR and STX has been positive, with NEAR trading at $7.93 and STX valued at $2.044 on the launch day of the trusts. In addition to the introduction of these new trusts, Grayscale's prospects for launching an Ethereum ETF have significantly improved. Recent reports from Bloomberg's senior ETF analysts suggest a 75% likelihood of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approving ether ETFs, a notable increase from the previous 25%. To enhance its chances of approval, Grayscale took proactive steps by refining its ether ETF submission on May 21, specifically addressing regulatory concerns related to staking activities.
