Despite concerns regarding potential compromise of the mainnet validators' encrypted key material backups, thorough investigations revealed no evidence of tampering or malicious exploitation.

In a swift response, Numic took proactive measures by resetting all depositable keys to zero and systematically eliminating any potentially compromised keys. This preemptive action effectively prevented new deposits from being directed to validators that might have been compromised. Lido DAO contributors played a pivotal role in aiding Numic's comprehensive investigation into the breach, and the precautionary measures were seamlessly implemented without disrupting validator operations, underscoring Lido DAO's robust security protocols and swift response mechanisms.
