Liminal, a Singapore-based custody service provider, has made a significant stride in expanding its operations to Abu Dhabi, following regulatory approval from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

This milestone marks a new chapter in Liminal's strategic vision to extend its regulatory footprint beyond current markets and serve institutional clients globally.

Liminal's recent regulatory wins in Dubai and India have further solidified its presence in the region. The company's subsidiary, First Answer Custody FZE, secured initial approval from Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), while its Indian subsidiary became the first digital asset custodian to be registered as a reporting entity with India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

Liminal's strategic vision involves extending its technology presence in Europe and Taiwan and securing regulatory approval in these regions.

The company has also been appointed by India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to manage seized digital assets, underscoring its commitment to becoming a global leader in providing custody services.

With its recent expansion to Abu Dhabi and regulatory wins, Liminal is poised to serve institutional clients on a larger scale, marking a significant leap forward in crypto expansion.
