At its core, a futures contract represents a financial agreement between two parties to buy or sell a financial asset at a predetermined price on a future date. In the case of Hashrate Futures, the contract size is set at 1 petahash (PH) for monthly durations, with settlement rates based on Luxor's Bitcoin Hashprice Index.
