A partnership agreement has been signed by the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and the Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Group (SIX) to investigate the possibility of dual listing, create connectivity to central securities depository services, and improve investor accessibility across the exchanges of the two platforms.

A crucial facet of the partnership, revealed during the Capital Market Summit, is assessing possible chances for items to be included on multiple lists or on different lists.

Investors can move shares across exchanges with its help. This project also aims to increase market accessibility, facilitate capital raising for businesses, and improve investment opportunities for both regional participants.

Improving Accessibility to International Markets

As a member of SIX's Executive Board and Global Head of Exchanges, Bjørn Sibbern stated: "SIX, already offering a highly international atmosphere and being home of many multinational companies, continuously strives to expand and improve its range of international products and services."

In February, SIX made a significant stride in cryptocurrency trading by introducing indices designed for AsiaNext's crypto derivatives platform and institutional investors worldwide.
