Beginning on April 18, Binance will be implementing changes to its trading platform, specifically introducing new perpetual contracts with increased leverage options for traders. These modifications aim to enhance the futures trading experience on the platform. Despite these enhancements, the cryptocurrencies involved are experiencing declines due to the overall market downturn.

Among the upcoming changes are the introduction of ARB/USDC and NEO/USDC perpetual contracts with up to 50x leverage, as well as FIL/USDC contracts allowing for up to 75x leverage. These new options will be available for traders starting April 18. Binance has cautioned that the specifications of these contracts, such as funding fees and maximum leverage, may be subject to adjustments based on market risks. Additionally, the multi-assets mode will be activated on these perpetual contracts, enabling users to utilize cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as margin

Despite the support for Arbitrum, NEO, and Filecoin provided by these changes, the affected assets are currently experiencing losses in value. ARB has declined by 8%, NEO by 13%, and FIL by 6%.

Over the past few months, Binance has made several adjustments and updates to its platform. In March, it removed Monero and three other altcoins while adding Filecoin, NEAR Protocol, Stellar, EOS, Injective, and Alien Worlds as loanable assets on Binance Loans. Recently, the exchange introduced Spot Algo Orders Trading Bots services for the USDT/MXN pair and added 18 new loanable assets to Binance Loans. Furthermore, Saga and Tensor were included in the VIP Loan section.
