The industry is experiencing fast growth due to the increasing demand for technology-enabled solutions that enhance financial access, facilitate fast and efficient cross-border payments, and improve transportation for billions of people.

The event attracts speakers from companies such as the London Stock Exchange, the UN International Trade Group, the Celo Foundation, the Central Bank of Kenya, Absa Group, Yellowcard, Paystack, Adaverse, Norrsken22, Amazon Web Services, and Emurgo.

Speaking at the two-day event is Shogo Ishida, co-founder of NODO and co-CEO of Emurgo Middle East and Africa, participating in a panel discussion titled "Web3: Building the Future" moderated by CNBC's MacKenzie Sigalos. Other panelists include Shodipo Ayomide of INTMAX, Michael Phelps of Adaverse, Matt Crow of Tether, and Yvonne Kagondu of Kushite ICP East Africa Hub. The event will also feature other panels of interest to blockchain enthusiasts, discussing the mass onboarding of users into Web3 ecosystems and the future of cryptocurrency in Africa.

Ishida is hosting a workshop in partnership with Kotani Pay for global entrepreneurs and investors interested in Africa’s increasing adoption of cryptocurrency.
