In a recent tweet, Ondo Finance announced that its flagship yieldcoin, USDY, will be featured as a genesis asset for the debut of MANTRA Chain’s blockchain. USDY provides exposure to US Treasuries alongside stablecoin utility, aiming to enhance MANTRA’s on-chain liquidity and bridge traditional and decentralized finance.

Nathan Allman, CEO of Ondo Finance, expressed enthusiasm about integrating USDY into MANTRA’s ecosystem, highlighting the mission to bring institutional-grade assets to a broader market. Similarly, John Patrick Mullin, Co-Founder and CEO of MANTRA, emphasized USDY's role in enhancing on-chain liquidity and aligning with MANTRA Chain’s strategy to collaborate with leading Real World Asset (RWA) projects.

USDY will not be available in the US or to US persons, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The token has not been registered under the US Securities Act, emphasizing adherence to legal requirements.

Market analyst @sir_Dzen noted a potential bearish trend for ONDO, suggesting a short entry if the price drops below the Moving Average. At press time, Ondo’s price was $1.24, with a daily trading volume of $227,710,905. Despite a 6.06% increase in the last 24 hours, indicating a short-term bullish trend, the market outlook remains cautious.

By integrating USDY, MANTRA aims to position itself as the most liquid Layer 1 blockchain tailored for Real World Assets, underscoring the growing significance of RWAs in the blockchain space.
