A Harris Poll reveals that interest in cryptocurrency is growing among U.S. voters, with 33% stating that a candidate's stance on digital assets will influence their voting decisions. The survey, funded by Grayscale, involved over 1,700 likely voters and showed that 77% believe presidential candidates should have an informed perspective on crypto. Voters are evenly divided on which political party leads in digital asset issues.

The poll indicates an increasing belief that cryptocurrencies will become part of investment portfolios, with 47% expecting to invest in crypto. Nearly everyone (98%) has heard of Bitcoin, and 54% are familiar with Ethereum's ether. Around 17% of voters have invested in Bitcoin, close to the number holding bonds and higher than those with ETFs. Additionally, 24% expressed interest in Ethereum ETFs.

Interest in crypto and blockchain technology as the future of finance has risen, with 44% of respondents in agreement, up from last year. However, 52% of respondents want more regulation to feel confident about investing in digital assets. This poll shows a higher interest in candidates' crypto views compared to a previous poll of swing-state voters, which showed a 21% interest.
