Polkadex has introduced a streamlined method for initiating a new Orderbook by integrating PolkaPool and Auto-Swap functionality. This marks a significant advancement for their trading platform, offering a smoother experience for new traders venturing into decentralized exchange trading, thereby overcoming the usual obstacles faced by beginners in this field.

Previously, users needed to acquire a small amount of the exchange's cryptocurrency, PDEX, to trade on the platform, covering the mandatory down payment for access to this Substrate-oriented network and facilitating transactions involving on-chain accounts and funds.

With the implementation of automated switches, individuals without PDEX holdings can now enter the Polkadex ecosystem by depositing DOT or other supported assets using THEA, a decentralized bridging tool. The Auto-Swap feature facilitates the conversion of a portion of transferred assets into PDEX token sets, ensuring a minimum of 1 PDEX for onboarding and covering transaction fees, typically around 0.01 PDEX.

A key component of this new system is PolkaPool, integrated into the blockchain earlier this year. Its primary function involves managing Auto-Swap deposits in the background, along with token swaps and liquidity provision. The active PDEX-DOT liquidity pool directly connects DOT holders with the Polkadex exchange platform.

Future plans include expanding the range of available liquid pools to include stablecoins like USDT, ASTR, GLMR, and PHA, as well as Bitcoin and other tokens of interest to participants, gradually broadening Auto-Swap's service capabilities.

The user-friendly nature of the Auto-Swap feature is a significant benefit for customers. Simply connect your chosen wallet to the Polkadex Orderbook platform, select the decentralized transfer token, and initiate the transfer. After confirming transaction details and Auto-Swap rates on the THEA interface, complete the transfer using your wallet, and finalize your account configuration by linking your wallet to the order book.

PolkaPool's infrastructure development streamlines the onboarding process, while Auto-Swap enhances platform accessibility and efficiency. With expanded liquidity pools and support for more tokens, Polkadex solidifies its position in decentralized trading, offering a welcoming and efficient platform for traders worldwide.
