Poloniex promptly resumed operations, allowing investors to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies. The exchange appointed a top-tier security audit firm to enhance fund security and prevent future attacks.

Justin Sun, Poloniex's owner, assured users of the exchange's healthy financial status and sought cooperation with other exchanges to recover the lost funds, promising full compensation to affected users.
