Polyhedra Network and Lagrange Labs have teamed up to address zkBridging for optimistic rollups, marking their inaugural collaboration in enabling zkBridging while offering instance finality for optimistic rollups. This strategic partnership underscores Polyhedra Network's commitment to advancing trustless interoperability in the Web3 sphere, leveraging their combined expertise in cryptography research and shared dedication to utilizing zkProof to enhance data computation and cross-chain infrastructure.

The solution to zkBridging for optimistic rollups is facilitated through State Commissions by Lagrange Labs and Polyhedra Network. These commissions provide a mechanism for generating zkProofs, with Ethereum validators within the Committee being restaked via EigenLayer. The finality of the state transition submitted by the Optimistic Rollup's sequencer is attested by every State Committee involved in the network, using its Ethereum BLS12-381 consensus key.

Tuple-executing signatures comprise block_header, current_committee, and next_committee elements, with the current_committee signing block b and the next_committee signing for block b+1. These committees are permissionless on-chain and depend on nodes granted permission to join the State Committee.

Polyhedra Network's deVirgo is utilized on top of the signatures to generate zkProofs for the validity of every rollup block, applicable to various OP stack chains such as Arbitrum, including Base, Optimism, Manta, Mantle, and Zora.

For the validity to be proven for block b, certain conditions must be met, including at least two-thirds of the n attestors signing the block header and the equality of current_committee and next_committee in the Merkle Tree of the next block, b+1.

Polyhedra Network and Lagrange Labs plan to continue their collaboration to empower new cross-chain application use cases by leveraging their innovative proof and systems.
