It’s been a bumpy ride the past few months for many airdrop farmers. While there have been successful token launches, a combination of overfarming, poor tokenomics, and delays has resulted in many disappointing airdrops. This week, ZKsync and LayerZero, two of the largest protocols in all of crypto, have launched their airdrops.

ZKsync already announced all airdrop eligibility details and an FAQ to help users understand why they may or may not have qualified, and for how many tokens. Nearly 700,000 wallets qualified for the airdrop, and individual users could qualify for up to 100k ZK tokens.

What Next?

ZkSync and LayerZero were farmed for more than 8 months. With great faith that they would eventually airdrop tokens to their users, many continued to farm the protocols. Now that the airdrops are live, most will look for what to do next.

Think 6 months ahead when farming. These protocols have been available to farm for over a year - those who used the chain somewhat consistently earned large paydays, but had to take the leap of faith that the effort would be worth their time. What protocols can be farmed now, that might airdrop in 6 months? Remember that we look for protocols that are well-funded or on fast-growing chains, but aren’t heavily used yet.

Ton, Base, Blast Stacks etc currently have dApps running points programs so they are great places for farmers to start.
