As reported by Bloomberg on April 20, there was a significant increase in net inflow of $59.7 million into spot Bitcoin ETFs. The price of BTC made a recovery before the halving event, resulting in a positive upsurge of funds flowing into these ETFs.

Following a period of outflows earlier in the week, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the U.S experienced a boost on Friday with inflows totaling around $60 million. This uptick coincided with Bitcoin's successful halving event, attracting heightened interest from investors such as BlackRock and Fidelity, leading to increased investments in these ETFs.

Investors showed a positive outlook, with higher amounts of money entering the Fidelity Bitcoin ETF compared to the iShares Bitcoin ETF managed by BlackRock. BlackRock witnessed an inflow of $29.3 million, marking a substantial increase from previous days. Bitcoin holdings surged by more than 17.55%, contributing to BlackRock's net inflow surpassing $15.42 billion after the recent influx.

Notable inflows were recorded in Fidelity Bitcoin ETF with $54.8 million, Ark 21Shares Bitcoin ETF with $12.5 million, and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF with $4.9 million. On the other hand, Grayscale GBTC saw slower outflows on Friday, with a decrease from $90 million the day before to $45.8 million. Despite the significant outflows, the market remains optimistic about future inflows, with expectations of stabilization in the outflow trend predicted by Grayscale CEO Michael Sonenshein.

While trading volumes in spot and futures markets remain modest, recent data indicates an overall positive sentiment driven by concerns surrounding Israel-Iran tensions.
