Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, is conducting a new round of crypto delistings, including the popular meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB). This month, several trading pairs, including SHIB, will be removed from the exchange.

Binance to Delist SHIB/TUSD Trading Pair

In a June 26 blog post, Binance announced it would be delisting several spot trading pairs, including SHIB/TUSD, effective June 28, 2024. Users are advised to update or cancel their SHIB/TUSD spot trading bots to avoid potential losses. Despite the delisting, Shiba Inu will remain available on the Binance Spot Exchange.

The exchange will also delist other pairs like BLUR/FDUSD, LINK/TUSD, MEME/ETH, METIS/FDUSD, NFP/BNB, and OSMO/BTC due to poor liquidity and low trading volume. Binance aims to protect users and ensure a high-quality trading market by removing these low-performing pairs.

Shiba Inu Price Decline

Shiba Inu's price has fallen significantly, dropping about 33.06% over the past month. Data from CoinMarketCap shows a further 2.39% decline in the last 24 hours, with the trading volume decreasing by 36.31%. The cryptocurrency is currently trading at $0.000017, down from its peak of over $0.000044 earlier this year.
