Renowned sports figures Rob Gronkowski, Victor Oladipo, and Landon Cassill have agreed to a $2.42 million settlement, resolving allegations related to their promotion of Voyager Digital. This settlement covers all US individuals involved with Voyager before October 2019 and is part of a larger class action lawsuit.

The settlement breakdown sees Gronkowski paying $1.9 million, Oladipo contributing $500,000, and Cassill paying $25,000. While the sports stars accept the settlement, they do not admit or deny the accusations. The plaintiffs also seek approximately $792,000 in attorney fees beyond the settlement.

The lawsuit, filed in 2022, initially targeted Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and later included Voyager endorsers like Gronkowski. The case focused on whether Voyager products were unregistered securities and if endorsers misled investors. Through mediation, several settlements were reached to resolve industry uncertainties and facilitate reconciliation. Notably, Voyager Digital provided $484 million to compensate creditors in April, obtained through settlements with FTX, Three Arrows Capital, and Directors and Officers insurance claims.
