The LiNEAR Protocol recently introduced its latest governance token, $LNR, along with $bLiNEAR (boosted $LiNEAR), the first staking derivative token in DeFi.

$LNR holders now have direct influence over LiNEAR’s staking strategy and the ability to set staking pool rates, benefiting directly from the protocol’s growth. Additionally, a liquid staking protocol on Near has been launched, boosting $LiNEAR or $bLiNEAR, offering near-restaking liquidity for enhanced yield and capital efficiency.

LiNEAR stands out as one of the premier liquid staking derivatives on Near, enabling users to stake NEAR tokens for PoS rewards and LiNEAR tokens. $LiNEAR represents staked NEAR tokens usable across various DeFi protocols and crypto staking pools.

This recent development expands possibilities for network participants, empowering them with decision-making authority and participation in LiNEAR’s development, including insurance fund staking, governance decisions, revenue sharing, and incentive programs.

Boosted $LNR, the latest asset on Near, facilitates liquidity for restaked NEAR tokens, allowing users to earn $bLiNEAR by depositing NEAR tokens in the $bLiNEAR staking pool, automatically restaking NEAR tokens for users. This liquid token is usable in other DeFi protocols for activities like liquidity provision or lending, with seamless conversion to $NEAR to avoid unbonding and unstaking hassles.

Restaking provides additional advantages to the Near protocol, leading to increased revenue for users and enhanced utility and value for the token, especially with more middleware and application chains utilizing $NEAR as collateral.
