Transak and Cometh's partnership represents a major step forward in simplifying crypto asset transactions on layer three (L3) blockchains, according to a company announcement. This integration allows users to purchase ethereum (ETH) on Cometh’s Arbitrum Orbit platform, Muster, without needing to handle crypto and gas tokens.

The solution, which automates interactions directly at the protocol level via Transak One and Cometh’s smart contracts, removes the necessity for intermediate steps like token bridging, greatly reducing transaction times.

Steven Goldfeder, co-founder and CEO of Arbitrum’s developer Offchain Labs, stated that the collaboration "simplifies the user experience, unlocks mainstream adoption potential, and demonstrates the power of building innovative solutions on Arbitrum’s scalable infrastructure."

He further noted that this integration is a significant milestone for the Layer 3 ecosystem. Previously, users had to undergo a complex multi-step process involving purchases on a Layer 2 solution and bridging to Muster, which was cumbersome and time-consuming. Transak now enables users to directly purchase cryptocurrencies with credit cards on Muster, significantly speeding up access to NFT marketplaces and other blockchain activities.
