Altcoins are also performing well, with UNI leading the charge with a 20% surge, pushing its price above $10. PEPE has also reached a new all-time high.

PEPE Hits New ATH, UNI Surges

The major news this week came from the US Securities and Exchange Commission, which approved eight spot Ethereum ETFs. This led to a significant rally for ETH, pushing its price from $3,100 on Monday to over $3,900 mid-week before settling around $3,750.

Other altcoins also saw substantial gains, with PEPE climbing another 12% to reach an all-time high of $0.00001538. Uniswap’s token, UNI, has risen by 20%, nearing $11. Other gainers include XRP, DOGE, TON, SHIB, DOT, IMX, and NEAR. The total crypto market cap has recovered over $60 billion since yesterday, now approaching $2.7 trillion.

BTC Targets $69K

Bitcoin’s price was influenced by the Ethereum ETF news, climbing from $67,000 to a peak of $72,000 on Monday and Tuesday before dropping back. The most significant decline occurred on Thursday, just before the SEC's announcement, bringing BTC below $66,500. However, it rebounded and reached over $69,200 amid positive sentiment towards the ETFs, though it is currently trading just below $69,000.

Bitcoin’s market cap has risen to $1.350 trillion, with its dominance over altcoins remaining at 50.2%.
