The transition from testnet to mainnet took place on June 28, 2024. Holders of testnet tokens B3TR, VOT3, and GM NFT saw their balances reflected on the VeChainThor mainnet. Users were encouraged to swap their mainnet B3TR for VOT3 between June 28 and June 30, in preparation for the first voting round starting on July 1.

VeBetterDAO introduces quadratic voting, ensuring fair and democratic participation in governance proposals. The mainnet launch also initiates the full-scale emission of B3TR tokens, offering substantial rewards to engaged VeChain community members.
