The XRP Ledger Campus event held in Uyo, Nigeria on the 28th of October, 2023, was a vibrant gathering focused on promoting the adoption of Web3 solutions.

As one of the speakers at this event, I had the opportunity to share insights on the importance of Technical Writing as a form of Legacy work.

Legacy work is doing something that goes beyond ourselves and has a long-lasting positive impact.

Event Highlights

The event comprised a series of enlightening sessions led by key figures in the Web3 space:

Unyime Henry commenced the speaking sessions by inspiring attendees on The Way Up in Web3, urging them to Learn, Build, Communicate, and Participate within the Web3 ecosystem.

Francis Akiba elaborated on WeaveDB, a decentralized NoSQL database powered by Warp Contracts (SmartWeave) on the Arweave blockchain, shedding light on its significance in building decentralized databases for dApps.

Ubong Dominic, the event's host, educated participants on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), a decentralized, public blockchain driven by a global community seeking to solve problems and generate value.

Godswill Akpan gave a great talk about Blockchain Vulnerabilities & Personal Security encouraging the attendees to create solutions, as Humanity thrives on innovation.

The event ignited a vibrant atmosphere with enthusiasm among the participants, not only learning but to actively contributing towards making a tangible impact with Web3 technology.
