Wasabi Wallet will continue to function as a typical Bitcoin wallet, allowing users to generate private keys for secure transactions. Although Coinjoin will be unavailable, the wallet still offers strong privacy features through its client-side filtering, Tor integration, and custom coin selection.

These elements help keep Wasabi as one of the most privacy-oriented light wallets, but without Coinjoin, transactions may lack full confidentiality due to the transparency of the Bitcoin blockchain.

The halt of Coinjoin also affects users of other wallets that rely on the zkSNACKs coordinator, such as Trezor Suite and BTCPayServer, impacting the broader crypto community.

zkSNACKs, the organization behind Wasabi Wallet, emphasized its commitment to free and open-source solutions. It continues to enhance and refine the wallet, welcoming community input through reporting issues, suggesting code changes, or contributing to the project.
