GAM3S.GG, formerly known as Polkastarter Gaming, has announced plans to launch a Web3 cloud gaming platform in collaboration with Aethir as part of its ambitious 2024 roadmap, focusing on significant advancements in web3 gaming. The roadmap outlines several key initiatives aimed at improving user experience and promoting the adoption of web3 gaming.

In the second quarter of 2024, GAM3S.GG will introduce a beta version of its cloud gaming feature in partnership with Aethir. This initiative aims to deliver seamless, high-performance gaming accessible from any device, leveraging Aethir’s infrastructure to support large-scale cloud gaming with minimal latency and high reliability. Initially, the cloud gaming service will be free for all platform users during the beta phase, transitioning later to a G3 token-gated model as the service expands and enriches its game library.

Aethir’s decentralized cloud infrastructure utilizes a globally distributed network of GPUs, employing blockchain and peer-to-peer networking to pool processing power. This innovative approach ensures low latency and scalability, enabling gamers to access high-quality gaming experiences without requiring costly hardware. By integrating Aethir’s infrastructure, GAM3S.GG aims to provide seamless, top-tier cloud gaming directly through its platform, making leading web3 games accessible to users worldwide.

Following the cloud gaming rollout, GAM3S.GG plans to introduce the Vault feature in Q2-Q3 2024. The Vault will enable users to participate in private sales of web3 gaming tokens, offering early support for their preferred games. Access to the Vault will necessitate staking a minimum of 10,000 $G3 tokens, with eligibility further determined by the user’s GAM3R Score and GAM3R NFTs.

Other elements of the roadmap include a Battle Pass system slated for implementation, featuring both free and premium tiers with rewards and levels attainable through platform activities. This gamification aspect aims to enhance user engagement by enabling players to accumulate XP, earn rewards, and progress through ranks across multiple seasons.

The final major feature scheduled for 2024 is the Gaming Passport, set to launch in Q4. This digital identity solution will empower users to manage gaming credentials, track on-chain game progress, and validate gaming achievements. The Gaming Passport will integrate data from various gaming platforms, offering a unified login system and enabling game studios to quickly identify high-performing players.
