The introduction of Kraken's new cryptocurrency wallet has sparked worry among many investors due to its lack of support for Cardano (ADA), raising fears that ADA might slip further down the market capitalization rankings.

Amidst stagnant prices and a decline in market capitalization rankings, concerns are growing among ADA enthusiasts regarding the future of Cardano. Additionally, Kraken unveiled its new non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, the Kraken Wallet, on Wednesday, which, it turns out, does not support the ADA coin.

Cardano Owners Await Responses

In response to the exclusion of ADA, an X-influencer known as ADA Whale stated, "It remains a mystery to me how a blockchain like Cardano can still be excluded from fundamental infrastructure integrations."

Rick McCracken, a staking pool operator, took a more objective stance, suggesting that the lack of Cardano integration is more likely due to the Cardano Foundation. He stated that the responsibility for future integrations will fall on the Cardano community.

Nevertheless, this rejection poses a significant setback for ADA supporters who assumed that Cardano's size and reputation would result in automatic integrations with projects like the Kraken Wallet.

Kraken Wallet Supports Eight Major Blockchains
With the new Kraken Wallet, the exchange has created a simple and secure non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, allowing users to "explore the decentralized world and manage their digital assets with ease," according to Kraken.

Available from Wednesday, the cryptocurrency wallet boasts Multichain support, enabling seamless interaction with eight major blockchains: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Dogecoin. The wallet also integrates WalletConnect, providing users access to thousands of decentralized applications.

It's worth mentioning that, in the spirit of privacy, the Kraken Wallet does not store any login credentials or KYC information.
