Adidas, a well-known brand for shoes and sportswear, revealed on April 15th that they are teaming up with StepN, a fitness app that uses Solana technology. Together, they will introduce a set of 1,000 NFTs called the StepN x Adidas Genesis Sports Shoes Collection. These NFTs will be inspired by some of Adidas' famous running shoe designs.

The joint effort between Adidas and StepN will kick off with the launch of the NFT collection on Mooar, StepN's NFT market, happening on April 17th. Adidas has previously been involved in crypto collaborations with companies like Coinbase, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Bugatti. StepN, in a statement, mentioned:

"This collection is just the beginning of many collaborative projects that will involve physical and wearable items over the course of the partnership with Adidas that will last for a year."

StepN is a Web3 app that gives out cryptocurrency rewards to users who walk or run regularly. Having 5 million users registered, StepN had worked with another shoe company, Asics, in the year 2022. StepN's CEO Shiti Manghani shared:

"The partnership between StepN and Adidas, combining physical and digital elements, sets the tone for the future of lifestyle rewards."
