Recent analysis from blockchain data analytics platform Intotheblock highlights a surge in transactions across Ethereum's Layer-2 solutions post the Dencun upgrade, echoing a similar pattern. Data reveals a remarkable 196% surge in transactions across leading Layer-2 platforms, totaling 5.67 million transactions.

Base emerged as a significant player, accounting for around 57% of these transactions, followed by Arbitrum and Optimism with 31% and 11% respectively. This surge not only underscores the increasing adoption and demand for Layer-2 scaling solutions but also signifies the dawn of the Base Spring era as noted in Intotheblock's prior assessment.

Over the past week, transaction volume within the Base ecosystem surpassed $1.6 billion for the first time, outpacing established entities like Optimism, setting a new performance benchmark.

A report by DeFiLlama revealed that the Total Value Locked (TVL) in the Base network reached an all-time high of $1.5 billion on April 9, marking a substantial 235% surge since the year's commencement, attributed to the frenzy surrounding meme coins.
