MACH functions as an Accelerated Validation System (AVS), allowing users to allocate ETH and LSTs. The economic collateral reserved for MACH is used to validate the status of the rollup swiftly, providing a rapid finality layer for rollups.

Dual staking has been implemented differently from EigenLayer, with the aim of integrating it with EigenLayer AVS contracts and providing support for traditional dual staking for MACH AVSes.
