She Code Africa, a non-profit organization focused on celebrating and empowering young African girls and women in Tech, in collaboration with Grow with Google is organizing a 20 weeks scholarship programme for 500 African girls and women who have developed interest in building skills in Technology.

Although the starting date of this event has not been made public yet, the deadline for submission of application for this programme is slated for 28th October, 2023. Interested girls and women across Africa can access and submit their application here .

What tech skills is this scholarship programme offering?

As clearly stipulated on the scholarship programme news line, the 20 weeks intensive programme will be offering training across fields including Cyber security, Data Analytics, Digital marketing, E-commerce, IT supports, Project management and UX design.

Who can apply?

African girls and women between the ages of 15 - 45
Active member of She Code Africa Community ( sign up)
Interest in starting a tech career skill with little to no prior knowledge
Show proof of foundational knowledge of skill chosen
Own a laptop and have access to internet
Be able to complete chosen course within 5 months or 20 weeks
Available for monthly check- in calls
