Jeff Washington has launched Anza, a fresh software development company aimed at bolstering the Solana network and promoting the adoption of SVM, short for Solana Virtual Machine. What sets Anza apart is its collaboration with key executives and engineers from Solana Labs.

Anza's primary objective is to create Agave, a forked validator client expected to play a significant role in Solana protocols. The team is dedicated to enhancing the Solana Network's uptime and facilitating the launch of clients like Firedancer.

Jeff, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Anza, views the timing of the firm's introduction as opportune, given the growing prevalence of SVM and the increasing launch of new protocols and DAOs within the Solana ecosystem. He believes Anza's debut brings the Solana network closer to decentralization and credibility.

Anza's team also focuses on enhancing various aspects of the ecosystem, such as token extensions and Solana permissioned environments. Notable core engineers from Solana Labs include Pankaj Garg, Amber Christiansen, Jed Halfon, Stephen Akridge, Jon Cinque, and Jeff Washington.

The Solana community eagerly anticipates Anza's developments, with many expressing confidence that expanding the number of validator clients will benefit the ecosystem. However, this optimism has yet to reflect in the native token of Solana, SOL, which has seen a 2.31% decline in the last 24 hours.

Despite this, SOL's price has surged by 18.06% over the last week, leading to predictions of it surpassing the $110 mark soon.

While Anza's announcement hasn't immediately impacted Solana's tokens positively, the project holds promise for the future. With a team comprising top talent from Solana Labs, Anza is poised to contribute significantly to major Solana protocols and advance the adoption of SVM, shaping the next generation of Web3 protocols.
