Arkham, a blockchain analytics company, has accused its rivals of spreading "fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD)" following inquiries into the company's transfer of its ARKM tokens. While Arkham did not specifically name the opposing companies, a recent post by another blockchain analytics firm, Nansen, alleged that Arkham had transferred over 25.2 million ARKM tokens (worth over $56 million) in the past two days to undisclosed wallets and the cryptocurrency exchange Binance. Nansen raised concerns about the destination of the transferred tokens, pointing out that they were sent to various Binance addresses with no prior activity and to a new wallet address.

Arkham responded in an April 9 statement, explaining that the token movements were in line with their published tokenomics. They clarified that 20 million ARKM tokens were transferred to a new wallet address as part of an approved protocol proposal, while 5 million ARKM tokens from their ecosystem fund were unlocked according to their tokenomics.

Regarding the difference between the number of tokens in their vesting wallets and the stated number in their tokenomics paper, Arkham explained that vesting wallets would be gradually deployed over time as they receive addresses from non-crypto investors and make new hires. They emphasized that no early unlocks had occurred and assured that all team and investor tokens remained fully locked and traceable using their platform's top holders feature.

As of the publication time, ARKM's fully diluted market capitalization stands at $2.047 billion. Despite experiencing significant growth in the past year, partly fueled by excitement surrounding the company's use of AI in blockchain analytics, ARKM has witnessed a nearly 40% decline in value over the past month. The firm received an undisclosed investment from Binance Labs in November last year.
