Arweave (AR) surged to $35 following the announcement of its upcoming futures trading launch on Coinbase. The Arweave AO Network is preparing to introduce distributed computing services, reaching out to developers after successfully completing a two-month testnet phase. Miners play a crucial role in securing the Arweave network by storing data pieces and providing proof of securing them.

Despite not hitting its all-time high of over $80 during the previous bull market, AR experienced a strong recovery to $35 and remained near its weekly peak. The project has seen significant trading volumes of around $200M in 24 hours and boasts a liquidity of $355K for 2% slippage. AR has now entered the top 50 coins based on market capitalization.

Unlike many tokens, AR has 99% of its total supply in circulation without locked coins or vaults. Approximately 8% of all tokens are actively traded in a 24-hour period, exhibiting moderate liquidity in its primary trading pairs on Binance. The recent rally in AR was primarily driven by its listing on the Coinbase futures market alongside Hedera and Theta Network, with the new markets set to open on May 9.

Arweave has witnessed a transaction peak in April, marking a significant milestone in its quest to become the go-to decentralized ledger for data storage and retrieval. The Arweave protocol, which has been rigorously tested over the years, aims to revolutionize existing cloud solutions by offering permanent data storage services, paving the way for neutral web applications that do not face time-related constraints.

In response to increased data inflows and transactions, Arweave continues to build its ecosystem and expand its social media community, attracting new supporters who are affectionately referred to as the Weavers.
