QuickSwap has launched Astar zkEVM on its DEX, aiming to expand the adoption of Astar Network’s zkEVM chain through its DEX infrastructure, marking a significant milestone for the dragon community.

Astar zkEVM was developed as a Supernet to accelerate the widespread adoption of Web3 in Japan and globally. Built using the Polygon CDK tech stack, Astar zkEVM is an upgradable and decentralized Ethereum Layer 2 EVM-compatible blockchain that enables interoperability and asset transfers among Polygon, Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos, and other popular blockchain networks.

The Astar Network continues to grow, boasting over 500,000 community members, 50+ live dApps, and a TVL exceeding $600 million, along with 500+ projects in its ecosystem. QuickSwap's integration on Astar zkEVM allows the dragon and Aster communities to engage with the next-generation DeFi offerings on the network.

This integration exposes users to a new ecosystem and an expanded network of interconnected chains via Astar’s framework, enabling swapping, liquidity provision, and yield farming for additional rewards.

QuickSwap's presence on Astar zkEVM is expected to enhance liquidity across the Polygon ecosystem, contributing to the overall development of the chain and strengthening the bond between Astar and Polygon.
